The effort and dedication to help looking after the environment and create awareness among clients and friends of Marina Ibiza, Marina Port de Mallorca and Marina Palma Cuarentena has been once again recognized by ADEAC because besides working for excellence in the service to their customers, they also care for the protection of the environment.

IPM Group marinas have received the Blue Flag in recognition to the continuous work helping to keep clean the Mediterranean waters, and for promoting good habits among clients and Friends with activities and campaigns of environmental awareness throughout the year.

"During high season months Marina Ibiza has a 100% occupancy and is key to us that all customers collaborate with the care of nature. To do this, we have green points for waste recycling, as well as a hazardous waste point which in case of ending up in the sea would cause great environmental damage. Furthermore we care to give out information about the Posidonia care, and what are the best places for mooring but also inform about how to protect certain marine species in danger of extinction, "said Daniel Marí, Manager of Marina Ibiza.

Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Palma Cuarentena and Marina Ibiza also hold EMAS certification issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Territory by voluntary participation in  management and environmental auditing. Marina Ibiza is also one of the three marinas in Spain and the only one in the Mediterranean that holds the title of Blue Star Marina, an international certification granted by IMCI classified as a 5 star marina worldwide, and also verifies and demands standards relating to the environment.

The health of the Mediterranean is one of the main aspects that IPM Group concerns about, trying to share with its users interesting information, besides of advicing boats how to get the Blue Flag for their vessel.
