Varadero Valencia celebrates the second edition of its own sailing Trophy

On November 5th -coinciding with the closing of the Valencia Boat Show-  the II Varadero Valencia Trophy began  for the ORC cruiser class, which is once again organized by the Real Club Náutico de Valencia and Varadero Valencia. The races will be played over three days: November 5th and 26th, and December 17th, the date when the trophies will also be handed out.

 

On the first weekend of the II Varadero Valencia Trophy, the 18 participating Yachts achieved very good results.

 

The day started early in the morning with the briefing of captains and skippers. The competition started at 12.46 and only 1 hour and 18 minutes later the first sailboats began to finish. In Class 1 first place was taken by  Phonemovil with skipper José Ignacio Vicent, while in Class 2 it was Alejandro Fliquete Cervera aboard Majoche who obtained first place. Blue Lizard achieved  first position in Class 3 with skipper Eduardo Tur Ciscar, and in the Open Class , first position was won by Joan Tamarit Tinze with Un mar sin barreras.
