Varadero Valencia organizes an informal regatta for customers and friends

Varadero Valencia organised a regatta for customers and friends in collaboration with the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, who provided boats TOM28 for the event, as well as an inflatable with marker buoys.

The day began at ten o’clock in the morning with a briefing at the regatta base of the Real Club Náutico de Valencia before the start of the regatta. The boats left the dock at 11.30 am and the races lasted just over 2 hours. They enjoyed a pleasant morning sailing in the bay of Valencia.

It should be noted that part of the crew of the boats was made up of staff from the Varadero. Elsa Schleissner together with other Project Managers of Varadero Valencia, helped in the sailing tactics of each boat as well as in the planning of crew positions, analysis of weather and the general sailing of these boats.

Although the ultimate goal was to win the regatta, the common purpose of all the members was to have fun and that was a fulfilled mission since, in addition to the competition there was a lunch with sailors, clients and staff of the Varadero Valencia which was used to discuss  on the manoeuvres of each boat, the anecdotes of the day and generally have a good time.

The winner boat of this fun regatta was manned by Alberto Barovier, Francesco Binetti and Sheila Reig, Project Manager of Varadero Valencia.
