Marina Ibiza collaborates with Kick Out Plastic, the Foundation that struggles for a World without single-use plastics

Continuing with its environmental policy and the great effort that Marina Ibiza usually makes to maintain its surroundings and the environment, this port has not hesitated to join a new initiative that promises to have a great journey in the field of sustainability.

For this reason, Marina Ibiza ends the year participating in the presentation of Kick Out Plastic, an international non-profit foundation that fights to eliminate single-use plastic, as well as other environmental aspects, from a sports perspective.

The premiere of this original initiative was starred by its founders, Lars Böcking and Marcos Senna, and their ambassadors Ferran Torres, Pedri González, Omar Mascarell and Ivana Andrés, all of them players from prestigious soccer teams, with the support of their agency Jacaranda.

This pioneering organization, due to its link with sport, shares objectives with Marina Ibiza such as raising awareness of the need to keep our planet clean of plastics and that is why the greenest marina in the Mediterranean has wanted to support this project and give it visibility.

This action is added to the annual program of environmental activities promoted by Marina Ibiza, with which it has achieved various accreditations such as Blue Flag, Registration in the Carbon Footprint Registry, ISO 14001, Blue Star Marina, all of this being reflected in its Environmental Declaration for EMAS.
