Future naval engineers from Spain visit STP Shipyard Palma as a prelude to the 61st Congress of Naval Engineering and Maritime Industry

Students in the final year of the Higher School of Naval Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid toured STP Shipyard Palma facilities with the aim of learning about the operation of this reference technical area and its interesting 'open shipyard' model, the object of study for their training since in it they were able to verify all the professional facets of all kinds of repairs or maintenance of different boats.

The 60 students were received by Joan Rosselló, Manager of STP Shipyard Palma, together with Carlos Albons Llompart, Head of Production and Jesús Domínguez, Director of Security and HR, who were in charge of carrying out the visit together with Ignacio Díaz from Hill Robinson, who promoted this meeting.

This group of students moved from Madrid for the 61st Congress of Naval Engineering and Maritime Industry that was held in Palma de Mallorca, and STP Shipyard Palma was delighted to open its doors to these future professionals who one day not too far away will have to Test their knowledge by working on a esplanade like the one at STP.
